The Member of Parliament for Bole–Bamboi Constituency, Hon. Yusif Sulemana, continues to demonstrate strong leadership and commitment to improving education through a series of impactful infrastructure and human resource interventions across the constituency.
On 25th April 2026, acting on behalf of the president of the Republic and the Savannah regional minister, Hon. Sulemana cut sod for the construction of four new basic school buildings in underserved communities. This major initiative is set to significantly enhance teaching and learning conditions for pupils who previously held classes under trees and in churches due to the absence of proper school facilities.
In a further demonstration of his dedication to education, the MP revealed that over the past two years, he has personally engaged private teachers to support three deprived communities. This intervention ensured continuity in learning while permanent school structures and trained professional teachers were being arranged.
Beyond new constructions, Hon. Sulemana has consistently prioritized the rehabilitation of existing educational infrastructure. In collaboration with the District Education Directorate and the District Assembly, he has spearheaded the renovation of several deteriorating school facilities that were negatively affecting academic outcomes.
As part of his routine monitoring efforts, the MP recently inspected ongoing renovation works in Gbenfu and Manful, while similar projects are progressing steadily in Kakiase, Maluwe, and Kiape. These interventions are aimed at creating safe, conducive, and motivating learning environments for both pupils and teachers.
Hon. Sulemana reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to advancing education in the constituency, noting that these projects form part of a broader vision to uplift standards and expand opportunities for young people across Bole–Bamboi. He further indicated plans to cut sod for additional school projects in other communities, signaling sustained momentum in educational development.
