DCE and MP Spearhead Major Educational Infrastructure Expansion Across Bole District

The District Chief Executive for Bole, Hon. Abdulai Mahmud, in collaboration with the Member of Parliament for Bole–Bamboi, Hon. Yusif Sulemana, has successfully led a high-level delegation to cut sod for multiple GETFund-sponsored educational projects and to supervise ongoing development works across several communities in the district.

This significant engagement underscores the proactive leadership of both the DCE and the MP in advancing access to quality education and improving social infrastructure throughout the district.

At Bodi, a community that has long awaited a school facility, the sod was cut for the construction of a 3-classroom block, marking a major milestone. In addition, Hon. Yusif Sulemana donated 10 streetlights to enhance safety and security. Further interventions proposed for the community include a borehole, a KVIP facility, and the development of a community park to support both educational and social needs.

The delegation also inspected the ongoing renovation of Kakiase Junior High School, reaffirming their commitment to creating conducive learning environments for students.

In Mankuma, sod was cut for a 6-unit classroom block, while Daboyiri is set to benefit from a 2-unit classroom block for kindergarten and primary pupils, alongside a borehole and a playground to improve water access and child-friendly learning.

At Maluwe and Bekwaikura, the team respectively monitored and supervised the renovation and construction of 3-unit classroom blocks, demonstrating consistent oversight to ensure quality and timely delivery of the projects.

The inspection tour extended to Sakpa, where renovation works on both upper and lower primary school blocks are progressing steadily under the watch of the district leadership.

Hon. Abdulai Mahmud reiterated the Assembly’s unwavering commitment to prioritizing education, sanitation, and access to potable water, while Hon. Yusif Sulemana emphasized his continued efforts to leverage GETFund and strategic partnerships to transform educational infrastructure across the constituency.

These impactful initiatives build on other key interventions, including the proposed Bole College of Education and ongoing infrastructure development at Bole Senior High School—further solidifying the district’s trajectory toward educational excellence.
