Accomplishments of Hon. Yusif Sulemana Ori as Member of parliament for Bole – Bamboi constituency.

Honorable Yusif Sulemana Ori, MP for the Bole – Bamboi seat, has been focused on ensuring that his constituents’ voices are heard and their needs satisfied since taking office. Through his office, he has lobbied and brought significant progress to his constituency.

Ori’s efforts to bring development to his constituents cannot be overstated, as he has and continues to work tirelessly around the clock to bring smiles to his people’s faces. As a result, the constituency in his name has accomplished a lot, some of which are vividly stated below:

Education

1. Distribution of over 1000 dual desks across the constituency
2. Renovation of Kilampobile school building
3. Renovation of Chenchire school building
4. Renovation of Gbebiri teachers quarters
5. Renovation of Gbelimpe school building
6. Ongoing renovation of Maluwe JHS building (as at October,2024)
7. Ongoing renovation of Bale Basic School(as at October,2024)
8. Donation of laptops and accessories to GES directorate
9. Continuous distribution of mathematical sets to BECE students since 2015
10. Donation of tricycles to communities without schools to access schools nearby
11. Support for various sporting events of GES in the district
12. Donation of Mattresses and food items to St. Anthony of Padua SHS
13. Donation of a set of tyres for Bosec school bus
14. Donation of sewing machines to Bole technical institute
15. Construction of a library for Mandari community
16. Repaired a vehicle of the district education directorate.
17. Payment of school fees for hundreds of tertiary students across the constituency
18. Established 3 community schools in Dikatama, Dabuoyiri and Sinkono and paying the teachers from his pocket to get children in these communities without schools have access to education. GES has absorbed two of those schools now; Dabuoyiri and Dikatama schools
19. 300 bags of cement to Tinga SHS/Tech

HEALTH, WELFARE, WATER AND SANITATION

1. Lobbied the Lordina Foundation to build an ultramodern maternity and children’s ward for Bole District hospital
2. Facilitated the construction of a nurses quarters at CHACHE
3. Donation of an incubator to the Bole district hospital
4. Distribution of Motorbikes to almost all health facilities across the district
5. Distribution of hospital and delivery beds to almost all health facilities in the district
6. Donation of several other medical consumables including weighing scales, thermometers, clutches, medicines, etc. to the district directorate.
7. Donation of Mattresses to the district health directorate
8. Release of over GHC40,000 as seed capital to operationalize the Bamboi polyclinic
9. Organised several health screening programmes across the constituency
10. Donation of relief items to several flooded communities like Ntereso, Maluwe Nsuanu, Tinga Nsuanu, Banda Nkwanta Nsuanu, etc. The relief items included rice, tomato paste, oil, canned fish, solar lamps etc.

5. Donation of a motorbike to the Ewe community chief of Bole
6. Annual Damba celebration donation and participation across the region
7. Sponsoring a vagla program on Nkilgi FM

AGRICULTURE

1. Distribution of several bags of Fertilizer, cutlasses, weedicides, Wellington boots etc. to farmers across the constituency
2. Canopies and chairs for Mo community in Bamboi
3. Drums for Ewes in Bamboi
4. Donation of 500 bags of cement to the Bole local council of churches

SECURITY, ELECTRICITY AND SAFETY

1. Distribution of several starlight bulbs to communities across the constituency
2. Monthly support GHC10,000 to the local security to augment the efforts of the police
3. Connecting 3 communities (BABATO, CHIBIRINYOAN and GBAMPEWA) to the national grid
4. Installation of speed ramp rope on some roads in Bole
